Getting answers about adult ADHD shouldn't mean years on an NHS list or being passed from door to door. Focus Gently is an online-only ADHD clinic for adults, run by specialists who take the time to understand you, with a clear diagnosis, a plan, and real support to follow.

Everything happens from home, by secure video, at a time that suits you. No referral. No waiting list. Just a straightforward path from "I think this might be ADHD" to a proper answer and a way forward.

We're operated by Acute Care Direct Limited and registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Assessment and treatment are delivered remotely, with psychiatrist oversight and psychiatrist assessment available where it's clinically needed.

Is this for me?

We see adults aged 18 and over, and you don't need a GP referral to book. (We're not currently able to accept referrals from Scotland or Northern Ireland.)

What to expect from your assessment

Your diagnostic consultation is a full 90 minutes by secure video: enough time to properly explore your history, not tick a box. We use validated diagnostic tools alongside a complete clinical and developmental picture of you.

If a diagnosis is confirmed and medication is right for you, your clinician runs the necessary safety checks (blood pressure, pulse, height and weight, and your medical and mental-health history) before talking you through your options. Honest, unhurried, and on your terms.

Please note: because our clinicians' time and expertise go into every assessment, the fee applies whether or not ADHD is confirmed.

Already diagnosed elsewhere?

If you've been diagnosed by another provider, we can take over your care after a simple records-based review, and keep prescribing even where your GP has declined a shared-care agreement. No starting from scratch.
