Nurse-Led Remote ADHD Assessment and Treatment for Adults

Focus Gently is an online-only ADHD clinic for adults aged 18 and over, operated by Acute Care Direct Limited and registered with the Care Quality Commission since July 2026. Assessment and treatment are delivered remotely by secure video, with a 90-minute diagnostic consultation at £750 and an assessment-and-medication-initiation package at £1,195.

Who They Can See

The service is for adults aged 18 and over, and no GP referral is needed. The clinic states that it does not currently accept referrals from Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Assessment Process

The diagnostic consultation runs for 90 minutes by secure video, covering a full clinical and developmental history alongside validated diagnostic tools. Where a diagnosis is confirmed and treatment is clinically appropriate, the clinician completes safety checks — including blood pressure, pulse, height and weight, and medical and mental health history — before discussing medication options.

Continuing Care After Diagnosis

Focus Gently also takes on adults diagnosed elsewhere following a records-based clinical review (£145), and continues prescribing directly where a GP has declined a shared care agreement. Assessment is chargeable whether or not ADHD is confirmed.
