Patients use it free to compare clinics on published price, waiting time, location, age groups served and NHS Right to Choose eligibility. Revenue comes from a clearly labelled "Featured" advertising placement, which never changes a clinic's position in organic listings or matching results. The site has been publishing since December 2025 and is operated by Sellframe Ltd (company no. SC472357), a software company incorporated in Scotland in 2014.

Clinic count is live. Everything else is as of 24 July 2026. These are the clinics we have identified and verified — no public register of UK private ADHD providers exists, so treat it as a floor rather than a total.
Data for journalists
Our price data is read from each clinic's own published page and stored with the URL it came from, so every figure can be traced back to a source.

What we can speak to
Each of these is backed by a figure we can show you the source for. We will not comment on an individual's diagnosis or treatment, and we do not give medical advice.
A median of £995 across 161 clinics that publish a price, ranging from £275 to £2,100 — a 7.6-fold spread for the same NICE-guideline assessment.
Region accounts for about 9.1% of the price variation. The gap between the cheapest and dearest clinic inside one region is more than double the gap between regional medians.
CQC guidance updated 26 March 2026 confirms that diagnosis-only ADHD services need no registration. Of the England clinics we matched to the register, 112 are registered and 25 hold a published quality rating.
51.8% of the 249 companies behind these clinics were incorporated in 2020 or later.
40 of the 332 clinics we list accept Right to Choose referrals. It is England-only, does not guarantee a shorter wait, and some Integrated Care Boards restrict or pause it.

Founder
Phil McParlane
Phil McParlane founded ADHD Private in December 2025 after finding no way to compare private ADHD clinics on what patients actually want to know — what an assessment costs and how long the wait is. The site is operated by Sellframe Ltd, a software company incorporated in Scotland in 2014.
He is not a clinician and does not comment on clinical questions. For those we can point you to NICE guideline NG87 or a clinical body.
How we make money
Patients use ADHD Private free. Clinics are the paying customers: some pay for a clearly labelled "Featured" placement. We take no commission on bookings or referrals. Paid placement is always labelled and never changes a clinic's position in organic listings or matching results. We say this here because journalists should not have to ask.
