Who is the referral for?

Right to Choose has no age limit — it covers children as well as adults. Your child's GP makes the referral in the same way.

Where are you registered with a GP?

Right to Choose applies in England only, so we check before building the letter. A postcode area such as B1 is enough.

43 clinics accept Right to Choose referrals. Waiting times vary by clinic and some ICBs restrict or pause Right to Choose referrals, so check with the clinic before you go to your GP.
