Jersey Is Outside the NHS

Jersey is a Crown Dependency with its own health system, so NHS Right to Choose does not apply, and neither does CQC regulation. Assessment here is self-funded or through insurance. If you later move to the UK, it is worth asking whether the report will be accepted by an NHS service or a UK prescriber, since acceptance of off-island diagnoses varies.

Assessment Process

Assessments are carried out at the Castle Quay clinic. The clinic does not publish its assessment steps, appointment lengths, or the diagnostic instruments it uses — ask when you enquire, and ask which register the assessing clinician is on.

After Diagnosis

Follow-up appointments are £250, and prescribing is available where clinically appropriate. Ask how prescriptions are dispensed on the island and what ongoing review costs over a year.
