So fast diagnosis of ADHD and assessment cost was slightly higher than some others however I believed this was worth it for a reputable company. I was however very disappointed as I discussed at assessment and in my follow up call about considering medication options only to receive a short blunt email saying they are not taking on any new patients for prescribed ADHD and they do not know when they will. I was however contacted shortly after by the admin team advising this was an error as they thought I was new patient. So all good and big thank you to Kirsty for taking care of things. One of the better companies out there

Poor assessment, wrong outcome ( I believe). No background info asked for from people who knew me ( Only asked about parents & Teachers. Parents are dead, teachers long retired or dead and unavailable) Assessment conducted by nurses not Psychiatrist. Assessment more suited for child than 55 year old adult who has masked 50+ years Final report states I do not meet criteria for ASD, no assessment of ADHD meaning I shall have to wait again for this to be carried out and will need to request second opinion on AUDHD. This centres final report also made subjective assertions about my social difficulties which were not in evidence during assessment and relate to botched surgery carried out when I was 30 years of age. A purely physical issue clearly this cannot have any bearing on social interaction difficulties I have experienced since childhood yet this centre describe it as a potential cause of my issues, this in spite of no exploration or questions pertaining to this being led during assessment. The final report also made reference to having spoken with parents which was clearly impossible! In a similar vane the final report refers to matters of lifestyle where again no pertinent questions on the matter were asked. My difficulty is in social interaction and understanding. People say one thing whilst meaning another, eg: “Can you make dinner?” When they mean “Will you please go and prepare food” Despite explaining I do NOT wish to interact verbally and dislike talking The entire assessment was conducted ( From my perspective) like an interrogation whereby I was asked numerous questions which I was unprepared for much to my discomfort. I do not recommend this centre for adult assessments, I feel my assessment was poor and the entire process left much needed steps out, and as a result drew the wrong conclusion. As well as the patient I am the holder of a Diploma in Autism awareness obtained after self Identifying as being on the Spectrum and identifying associated symptoms aged 50. This is the second review I have left as my previous one was removed! Clearly this centre does not like critique being levelled at their methodology

I had an assessment here that I was very nervous about leading up to the appointment. However all my nerves disappeared as I was welcomed by lovely reception staff. Andy, who completed my assessment, made me feel comfortable which made it easier for me to be myself and answer any questions he had. His questioning techniques also really helped me remember important parts of my childhood which helped with the assessment. Overall a great experience and felt very supported!
