Axia ASD provides ADHD, autism and dyspraxia/DCD assessments for adults and children from Brookside Farm Cottage, Parkgate Road, Mollington, Chester CH1 6JS, and accepts NHS Right to Choose referrals. It was founded by Dr Linda Buchan, Consultant Clinical Psychologist.

Assessment Process

Assessments are delivered at the Mollington clinic near Chester by the practice's multidisciplinary team. Axia does not publish its assessment steps, appointment lengths or the specific diagnostic instruments it uses — ask when you enquire.

After Diagnosis

Speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, sensory integration work and psychological intervention are available from the same team, at £150 a session.

Medication

Axia ASD does not prescribe ADHD medication, so a diagnosis would need to be taken to a prescriber separately. Ask about the onward route before you are referred, particularly if you come through Right to Choose expecting treatment as well as diagnosis.
