Assessment Process

A first appointment lasts about an hour and a half and involves questions to both parents and the young person, alongside a review of previous reports. Rating scales may be completed beforehand. A written report follows, and liaison with school or other clinicians is included where needed.

Practicalities

Appointments are in person only in Bloomsbury. Patients are usually referred by another doctor, most often a GP or paediatrician. Fees are not published — the hourly rate is available on request, with a first assessment charged at the equivalent of two hours and follow-ups charged pro rata.
