I recently had an ADHD and ASD Assessment with HSMH and can say it was so easy! The wait times were reasonable and once all paperwork was completed, the assessment was booked promptly. The assessors are very knowledgeable, and Dr Benjamin Walters was brilliant. He helped explain the affects of neurodiversity and what causes/treats it, answering all questions and taking the time to listen and understand everything. Titration was also very smooth sailing. Adil was very patient and answered all of my questions in full, taking time to explain everything. He was very knowledgeable and offered lots of advice. Highly recommend HSMH, they have been very accommodating, very helpful and the communication has been brilliant. Truly help people to understand themselves!

I was diagnosed with ADHD in March after the GP suggested using the Right to Choose route, as the only other alternative was a minimum of 18 months on a waiting list and I couldn't face that, I was at my wits end with the ADHD having deteriorated in the previous year. I chose HSMH because not only did they have good lead times, but they could work on shared care agreements with your GP, and most importantly if for any reason your GP refused shared care (as far as I am aware I don't think mine would but you never know in future) HSMH can also prescribe on the NHS. From what I could tell, many private clinics wouldn't. Once the GP sent their referral for an assessment to HSMH it was so quick, they contacted me the next day to book an appointment. As they have several practitioners there were even appointments available that week. Given you can choose which of their clinicians assesses you, I went through their individual profiles and chose Dr Benjamin Walters whose next availability was only 2 weeks away. I was assessed and diagnosed during that same call which was a relief not to have to wait. Benjamin was excellent, very empathetic to my situation and very informative, I finally felt supported. He discussed all the options and informed me there was a 16-20 week wait for titration (reviewing medication options and starting medication) and it was indeed 16 weeks to the day that I was contacted to book an appointment. I chose Adil Yousaf as my pharmacist as he was the Lead Clinical Pharmacist and for being known for his patient centred approach, he was equally excellent, very informative and clear in his communication, and knew exactly what to recommend. The medication has literally been life changing. I can't thank HSMH enough.

10/10 for Dr Sijjad Ijaz. I booked my ADHD assessment through Harley Street Mental Health and I’m really glad I chose him. He was thorough, thoughtful and genuinely understanding. What stood out was that he took time to understand the bigger picture, not just the symptoms in isolation. My history is quite layered, but it didn’t feel rushed or like a tick-box exercise. The report afterwards was extremely comprehensive and clearly reflected the assessment. I came away feeling properly understood and really appreciated the care and humanity he brought to the process.

We chose to use Harley Mental Health as it is accepted via our GP Right to Choose path. We were given an appointment quickly (we paid privately for assessment and titration as the situation was urgent). The only stress was making sure we had all the right documentation and patient history as listed from the booking confirmation email. The adult assessment ADHD for my 18 year old was carried out online with Dr Sijjad Ijaz who was very approachable, understanding and knowledgable. He was able to put (A) at ease so they were able to talk freely and provide relevant information independently. His recommendations and findings were thoroughly discussed with us with a he created a tailored action plan that was clear and workable. He made sure we were clear next steps before closing the call. His report was similarly thoroughly and provided a very accurate and insightful assessment of the situation. The administration team have also been very helpful and responsive. We are now at the start of trialling medication for 2 weeks before this is reviewed. We opted to use the recommended online pharmacy service which has been easy and quick to use. Once a medicine and dose has been settled (likely to take a few months) ongoing prescription costs are expected to be picked up by the NHS. So far we have found this to be a very helpful, comprehensive and efficient service for which we are extremely grateful.

I was lucky enough to have an appointment with Dr Scot Lindsay last week, and I have to say what a fantastic experience it was. From the moment we started talking, he made me feel completely at ease. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely listened to everything I had to say without making me feel rushed. Going into the appointment I was quite nervous, but Dr Lindsay's calm and understanding approach quickly put me at ease. He explained things in a way that was easy to understand and took the time to answer my questions. I felt like he really understood where I was coming from and treated me with kindness and respect throughout. I came away from the appointment feeling heard, supported, and much clearer about everything. I'm very grateful for the care and professionalism he showed, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Lindsay to anyone looking for ADHD assessment or support. Thank you, Dr Lindsay.
