Multi-Disciplinary Autism and ADHD Assessment Service in Kent

Kent Autism and ADHD Service (also known as The Autism and ADHD Service) provides comprehensive diagnostic assessments for autism and ADHD, carried out by a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team based in Ramsgate, Kent.

Comprehensive Assessments

Their assessments and diagnostic reports are comprehensive, using assessment tools recommended by NICE guidelines. Their assessments have been accepted by the NHS and other statutory services.

Multi-Disciplinary Team

All diagnostic assessments are carried out by a multi-disciplinary team who are highly experienced and trained in the assessment of autism and ADHD. Dr Donaldson is one of the clinicians who conducts assessments.

Waiting Times

Waiting times are usually 4-6 weeks from initial contact to assessment. The assessment itself takes around 1-2 weeks to complete, and reports are delivered within 2-3 weeks of the final appointment.

Post-Assessment Support

They do not add additional charges for follow-up support, letters or completion of forms post-assessment. They also provide regular online Q&A sessions for parents of children diagnosed with autism and/or ADHD.

Important Note on Medication

They provide a comprehensive assessment of ADHD but do not provide medication or advice about medication. They can refer to a psychiatry service for medication review, though there will be additional costs for this service.
