Multidisciplinary ADHD and Autism Assessment in Bolton

Amethyst Assessment Centre provides ADHD and autism assessment and diagnosis for children, young people and adults from Suite 1 and 1a, Melrose House, 181 Chorley New Road, Bolton BL1 4QZ. It is CQC registered, uses ADOS-2 and QbCheck, and adult ADHD assessment is £850.

Assessment Process

Assessment is delivered by the multidisciplinary team at the Bolton centre, using ADOS-2 for autism and QbCheck for ADHD alongside clinical assessment. Appointment lengths are not published — ask when you enquire.

After Diagnosis

The centre prescribes ADHD medication where clinically appropriate, and also prescribes for sleep difficulties in under-18s where indicated. Because a non-medical prescriber and consultant psychiatrists are on the same team, treatment can begin without a referral elsewhere.

Amethyst does not accept NHS Right to Choose referrals, so assessment here is self-funded or through insurance.
