Shamir Patel is a Clinical Pharmacist, Independent Prescriber and healthcare entrepreneur with extensive experience across community pharmacy, primary care and private healthcare. He is Director of Ready Health Clinic, a private healthcare clinic providing GP services, ADHD assessment and treatment, weight management and specialist health services. Shamir has a particular interest in ADHD, clinical pharmacy, medicines optimisation, prescribing and weight management. He has completed the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway at postgraduate level and is a SCOPE-accredited weight management specialist and pharmacist prescriber. With extensive experience in healthcare leadership and pharmacy operations, Shamir combines clinical expertise with a strong focus on patient safety, evidence-based practice and accessible, patient-centred care.

Mr Mark Thornton-Jones

ADHD Clinical Specialist Pharmacist & Independent Prescriber

Mark Thornton-Jones is a Specialist ADHD Pharmacist and Independent Prescriber at Ready Health Clinic in Standish, Wigan. He provides private ADHD assessments, diagnosis, medication titration and reviews, as well as weight management consultations, both in clinic and online across the UK. Mark qualified as a pharmacist in 2010 and has been an independent prescriber since 2018. He has worked extensively in GP surgeries and primary care, including as a Clinical Pharmacist and Team Leader in general practice. He completed specialist training in the diagnosis and management of ADHD in 2025. His ADHD assessments use recognised clinical methods, including DSM-5 criteria, the DIVA-5 diagnostic interview and NICE guidance. As an independent prescriber, Mark can prescribe and manage ADHD medication directly, including titration and ongoing monitoring. He also specialises in weight management, structured medication reviews, polypharmacy and long-term condition management.

Hamza Khairkhwah

Hamza Khairkhwah is a Clinical Independent Prescribing Pharmacist at Ready Health, specialising in ADHD, medical weight management and male hormone health. He provides adult ADHD assessments, diagnosis, medication titration and ongoing monitoring. Hamza uses recognised clinical approaches including the DIVA-5 diagnostic interview, DSM-5 criteria and NICE-aligned practice. He has extensive experience managing stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medication, complex presentations, cardiovascular risk and shared care arrangements with NHS GPs. He is SCOPE accredited by the World Obesity Federation and holds specialist qualifications in ADHD diagnosis and management. Hamza also has extensive experience prescribing GLP-1 weight management medication and contributing to clinical protocols and governance. He graduated with a First Class MPharm from the University of Bradford and is registered with the GPhC as an Independent Prescriber.

Sadiqur Rahman

ADHD Clinical Specialist Pharmacist & Independent Prescriber

Sadiqur Rahman is a GPhC-registered pharmacist and ADHD Specialist Assessor at Ready Health Medical Clinic in Standish, Wigan. He provides comprehensive adult ADHD assessments using structured clinical interviews, developmental history, recognised diagnostic criteria and consideration of differential diagnoses and comorbidities. Sadiqur is trained by the UK Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN) in adult ADHD diagnosis and pharmacological treatment. He takes a thorough, evidence-led approach, focusing on how ADHD symptoms affect everyday life, work, relationships and wellbeing. He also has clinical experience in general practice and community pharmacy, including medicines optimisation, cardiovascular health, hypertension, medication reviews and weight management. Sadiqur graduated from the University of Bradford with a First Class MPharm and is undertaking further training to qualify as an Independent Prescriber.

Kamran Fazal

Kamran Fazal is an Advanced ADHD Specialist Practitioner and Non-Medical Prescriber at Ready Health. He holds a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) from the University of Manchester and has specialised in ADHD assessment, diagnosis and medication management for the past four years. As a Non-Medical Prescriber, Kamran can independently prescribe and manage ADHD medication, providing continuity from assessment through to titration and ongoing monitoring. His approach is evidence-based and patient-centred, with a focus on understanding each patient’s needs, challenges and treatment goals. Kamran prioritises clear communication and shared decision-making, helping patients and families understand ADHD and their treatment options. He remains committed to ongoing professional development and delivering safe, personalised and effective ADHD care.
