The Cambridge ADHD & Autism Centre provides ADHD assessments at £800 for all ages, under Dr Anna Conway Morris — former lead ADHD Psychiatrist at the Cambridge Children's NHS ADHD clinic and Head of School of Psychiatry for the East of England. Assessment Process

New patients begin with a screening consultation (£200, 30 minutes, in person or online), with a QbCheck available where indicated (£300). The ADHD assessment itself runs to two hours and costs £800 at any age. Autism assessment uses ADOS observation, with a pragmatic alternative available for adults.

Locations

Clinics at Stow-cum-Quy and at Fulbourn Health Centre (Haggis Gap, Fulbourn, CB21 5HD), with online consultations also available.

Appointments

Cancellations need 72 hours notice by phone or email; missed appointments are charged at 50% of the appointment cost.

I genuinely cannot recommend The Cambridge ADHD & Autism Centre highly enough. I contacted the clinic during what had become an extremely stressful situation regarding the continuity of my ADHD treatment, and from my very first contact the level of care, communication and professionalism was exceptional. The administrative team deserve enormous recognition, particularly Caitlan and Colette. They were absolutely fantastic. They understood my situation, communicated with me throughout, arranged for my existing diagnostic and treatment documentation to be reviewed incredibly quickly and genuinely went above and beyond to help me. The communication wasn't just efficient; it was kind, reassuring and human. At no point did I feel like I was simply another patient or another email sitting in an inbox. I then had my consultation with Dr Stadler, who was outstanding. Within minutes I felt completely comfortable speaking with her. Her knowledge and understanding of ADHD were exceptional, but what impressed me equally was the way she listened. She took the time to properly understand my experiences, what had and hadn't worked for me and the impact treatment had made on my life. She wasn't simply agreeing with everything I said either. She was honest, thoughtful and willing to challenge my thinking where appropriate, while explaining the clinical reasoning behind her advice. Most importantly, I never once felt rushed, dismissed or judged. I felt listened to as an individual and involved in decisions about my own treatment, while still having complete confidence that everything was being approached properly and safely. What happened afterwards probably sums up the service best. I chose myself which pharmacy I wanted my prescription sent to and went there to collect my medication. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the pharmacy didn't actually have the medication available. This was absolutely nothing to do with Cambridge — the choice of pharmacy had been mine. Despite that, Caitlan and Colette immediately helped me again. Rather than treating the prescription being issued as the end of their responsibility, they helped me deal with the situation and made sure I wasn't simply left trying to sort everything out by myself. That level of aftercare meant an enormous amount to me. Having experienced considerable anxiety about an interruption to treatment that had made such a positive difference to my life, I cannot adequately describe the relief I felt after dealing with this team. From the clinical consultation with Dr Stadler through to the exceptional administrative support from Caitlan and Colette, the entire experience has given me enormous confidence in transferring my ongoing ADHD care to Cambridge. People are understandably quick to leave reviews when something goes wrong in healthcare, but I think it is equally important to recognise exceptional care when you receive it. Thank you Dr Stadler, Caitlan and Colette. You turned what had been an incredibly stressful situation into an experience where I felt listened to, supported and genuinely cared for. An outstanding service, exceptional communication and, most importantly, a team that clearly cares about the people they look after. Glenn

I have worked with Dr Chris for a few years now and fully appreciate his ability to listen without judgement but also give some of the best care and advice I have ever received. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Cambridge ADHD & Autism Centre! Many thanks to Dr Stadler for supporting me so quickly after I'd received a diagnosis through NHS Right to Choose, but had felt disillusioned with the wait time for medication. The medication titration process, consultation and documentation has been flawless. It's made the last few months so positive to be exploring ways to improve my productivity and understanding of myself. Thank you!

We have received an excellent service here, both of my children are now doing so much better due to the help and support of all the staff we have encountered. We feel that we have been listened to at every step, and the medical staff clearly care very deeply about their patients and have done everything they can to support our family.
