Cerebro is an independent specialist neurodevelopmental assessment service based in Sheffield, offering privately funded assessments for children, young people and adults across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.

Assessment Types

Specific Specialist Assessments (£900-£1,900)

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments

Complete Specialist Assessments (£2,500-£3,000) Comprehensive assessments covering multiple conditions.

Basic Assessment (£500) A one-off appointment to discuss current difficulties and determine whether a neurodevelopmental disorder or mental health problem might be indicated. This will not provide a diagnosis but will signpost to appropriate services.

Assessment Standards

Cerebro utilises guidelines laid out by NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence), ensuring high-quality assessments that are well regarded by both public and private sector healthcare organisations across the UK.

Flexible Appointments

Appointments can be conducted:

• At your home
• At your place of work
• At your child's school
• At a neutral clinical setting (such as a wellbeing centre)
• Via video link

Weekend and evening appointments are available. There is currently no waiting list and clients can be seen quickly.
