Multidisciplinary ADHD and Autism Assessment in Cornwall and Devon

Cornwall Autism & Neurodevelopment (CAN) provides ADHD, autism and neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults across Cornwall, Devon and the South West, with clinics in Truro and Plymouth. Child ADHD assessment is £1,795 and a combined ADHD and autism assessment £2,795.

Assessment Process

Assessment begins with a screening step, after which the full assessment usually follows within two months. It is delivered by the multidisciplinary team. The specific diagnostic instruments used are not published — ask when you enquire, and ask which disciplines will be involved in your assessment.

Medication and Right to Choose

CAN does not prescribe ADHD medication, so a diagnosis would need to be taken to a prescriber separately if you want to consider treatment. It does not accept NHS Right to Choose referrals.
