Woodlands Consulting and Therapy is an established independent psychology practice run by Dr Marilyn Sher, a Consultant Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, and supported by a team of multi-disciplinary associates. Operating since January 2008, they provide psychological assessment, therapy, and consultation services.

Assessment Process

Assessment and diagnosis of autism and/or ADHD follows a comprehensive approach in line with NICE guidelines. The process includes full developmental history using the DISCO and/or ACES (The ADHD Child Evaluation), completion of the ADOS-II, and assessment of cognitive functioning and adaptive living skills.

Team

Dr Marilyn Sher leads the assessment team with input from Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy. The team has extensive experience working with people with neurodevelopmental and social communication difficulties.
