I can't recommend ADHD Scotland enough. As someone who was seeking help with undiagnosed ADHD in adulthood, I was really nervous about what the outcomes might be. But my fears were quickly calmed as Dr. Field and the team at ADHD Scotland were lovely and very understanding. After going through the pre assessment I knew clearly what my options were and that I would seek a formal assessment. Whilst the process was rigorous, Dr. Field was warm, patient, and very understanding. All communications were professional and prompt. The offices were very modern and comfortable. Easy to walk to from several large car parks nearby. I cant thank Dr. Field and ADHDScotland enough.

Originally attended Dr Emma for a (re)diagnosis of my childhood ADHD. This was required to start the ball rolling for medication as an adult. Very welcoming and knowledgeable, from what I remember from my childhood diagnosis (from the NHS) this was scary, awkward, and generally not something I would ever go through again. Dr Emma made me feel safe and secure while carrying out her diagnosis. After the fact, I was told there may be something else there, namely Autism. I bought the dual diagnosis package and it's priced very competitively. Again, Dr Emma made me feel safe given I was totally unaware of what entailed in an ASD assessment. Where the NHS has failed me, dramatically, Dr Emma has supported me as an adult with AuDHD and referred me onto a clinic who is now prescribing medication for me. I felt useless, worthless and more. I felt guilty for stopping medication as a child as the NHS are holding this over me, refusing to help or intervene, but now I have 100% clarity and focus to get on with life, and most importantly, I'm now happy and content. It took a while to absorb the ASD diagnosis, but now it makes sense, and I've finally got the closure that I've desperately needed for years. I can't recommend Dr Emma enough, but hopefully this review will serve its purpose. Thank you Dr Emma. It was great to meet you with my wife, and your services have changed our lives.

Dr Field was incrediblely helpful and reassuring through the whole process. She was very accommodating when uncomfortable or upset and incredibly patient too. It was all round a very quick and easy process and am incredibly grateful for the support!!

As a late diagnosed woman with ADHD, I found the assessment process hopeful, sad and affirming all at once - as did those closest to me who felt a much greater sense of understanding and knowing . The assessment with Dr Emma was made much easier thanks to her kind, compassionate and informative way of being. I felt so understood by her and a huge sense of gratitude for the way she looked at me as a whole individual and was able to hold all those parts. Highly recommended.

I can’t thank Dr Emma Field enough for her support throughout my ADHD assessment. From my first contact, everything was organised quickly and clearly, and I felt supported at every step. The assessment itself was thorough, professional and was done in an understanding and relaxed environment. Although the assessment lasted around three hours and covered a significant amount of detail, I never felt rushed or under pressure. Emma created a calm and supportive atmosphere throughout, making it easy to engage with what could otherwise have felt like an overwhelming process. Her approach helped me feel comfortable discussing my experiences and challenges openly. She delivered a comprehensive final report in a very quick timeframe post assessment, clearly capturing my history, assessment findings/diagnosis, and recommendations. She has also been available to discuss the recommendations and practical options post diagnosis, I've felt supported on navigating what comes next and understanding the outcomes of the assessment. I would highly recommend Dr Emma Field to anyone seeking an ADHD assessment. I’ve come out of the process with a much greater understanding of myself and the confidence to move forwards.
