ADHD Titration and Ongoing Prescribing for Adults Already Diagnosed — Not Assessment

DoseDirect is a GPhC-registered online pharmacy providing ADHD medication titration, transfer of care and ongoing private prescribing for adults who already have a formal ADHD diagnosis. It does not carry out diagnostic assessments. Appointments are remote, with pharmacist independent prescribers, and because DoseDirect is also the dispensing pharmacy, your prescription and your medication come from the same service. Fees: titration package £349.99, transfer appointment £149.99, then Stable Care at £59.99 a month. Medication is charged separately.

Who It Is For

• Diagnosed, not yet on medication, or started but not yet on a stable dose: the titration package, or pay-as-you-go titration
• Stable with another provider and want to move: a transfer appointment, without repeating a full titration pathway if your treatment is suitable to transfer
• Your GP has declined shared care: if you are stable, DoseDirect can take over private prescribing and monitoring
• Restarting after a break in treatment: reviewed individually

Fees

• ADHD Titration Package — £349.99: up to 12 weeks with three clinician appointments, normally about four weeks apart, including blood pressure and pulse checks, weight where appropriate, dose adjustments, private prescriptions during titration and clinical letters where required
• Pay-as-you-go titration — £149.99 per appointment: the same reviews, one appointment at a time
• Treatment transfer appointment — £149.99: for patients already stable on medication; if accepted, you move onto Stable Care
• ADHD Stable Care — £59.99 per month: ongoing private prescribing, routine monitoring, an annual medication review, and help with treatment queries
• Medication is extra on every pathway, because its cost depends on the medicine, strength and quantity prescribed

If Your GP Declines Shared Care

Shared care is voluntary, and some GP practices decline to take over prescribing after private titration. Stable Care is designed for that situation: if your treatment is stable and suitable to transfer, prescribing and monitoring stay private with DoseDirect instead of depending on your GP. It is a private service, so the monthly fee and medication costs continue for as long as you use it.

How It Works

You choose a pathway, complete a clinical questionnaire and upload your ADHD diagnosis report or letter, photo ID and, if you are transferring, evidence of your current medication. You then book a remote appointment with a pharmacist prescriber, who reviews your diagnosis, history, symptoms, monitoring and any current treatment before agreeing a plan: starting, adjusting, continuing or changing medication, or asking for more information first. Paying or booking does not guarantee a particular medication will be prescribed, and if you apply to transfer before you are stable, they may recommend titration instead.
