First Rate Our local was referred to our local CAMHS team who then placed him on a diagnostic waiting list. Due to the waiting time (3 1/2 years +), we decided to look into private clinics and, having conducted research on several, chose The Everest Clinic. We are so happy that we did. From the first contact with Alex, we were kept fully informed of the process and what was required and when. I recall first meeting Dr Liv who welcomed us into the clinic with a big smile and made us and our son feel very reassured. Interviews and assessments were conducted professionally and everyone really took their time to understand our son. He enjoyed spending time with Reanne , Laura and Dr Liv although we did have a bit of a laugh when we visited the clinic for an assessment with Laura as she had just been in to his school that week to observe and he didn't initially recognise her (even though she sat on the same group of desks as him in music)! The diagnostic reports came through in good time and were written very well. Everything was explained and clear and even after the diagnosis, Dr Liv and the team were always available for follow up questions and queries. When you're initially looking for a private clinic after learning about the possibilities of ASD & ADHD for your child, (or yourself), a million thoughts run through your mind. If you decide to work with The Everest Clinic (and I strongly recommend that you do), then you'll be in good, safe hands.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Everest Clinic for providing me with exceptional care. Alex and Elyesha were always polite and prompt in responding to emails, managing appointments and handling invoicing. Their responses were clear, empathetic and thorough, which I greatly appreciated. Reanne and Laura conducted my ADI-R and ADOS-2 assessments face-to-face, and both made me feel very welcome and at ease throughout the process. The Clinical Director, Dr Liv, has been outstanding from the very beginning, starting with the discovery call and continuing through the follow-up screening. I have not yet had a post-assessment appointment with her, but I am confident it will be just as thorough and professional. I self-referred for an ASD assessment after concerns were raised about my communication. I was eventually diagnosed as an adult female. The entire process, from the discovery call to receiving my comprehensive diagnostic report, took about three and a half months. Each person’s diagnostic journey is unique, so I will share what stood out for me: 1. The cost of the assessment is significant, as is typical with these services. However, I was genuinely impressed by the time and attention given to me during every session. I never felt rushed and the team ensured I had ample time to discuss my concerns. 2. The approach is clearly person-centred and it’s evident that Everest Clinic is not just focused on profit. I felt that my individual needs were consistently prioritised throughout the entire process. 3. The assessment was incredibly thorough. I was truly amazed when I received the diagnostic report—it was detailed, with an emphasis on an optimistic perspective; it used neurodiversity affirming language and empathetic tone throughout, recognising me as a person beyond the diagnosis and providing a comprehensive overview of my challenges as well as strengths. The clarity with which it was written made me reflect on past struggles, helping me understand that what I had previously perceived as personal failures are, in fact, traits of autism. 4. The report was accompanied by a personal letter that was both compassionate and insightful. It's a keepsake. 5. At the end of the report, there were recommendations for reasonable adjustments, which I have found incredibly valuable and relevant. I would 100% recommend Everest Clinic to anyone seeking high-quality, person-centred and needs-based care. The investment is absolutely worth it.

I have had an extremely positive experience with Everest clinic. Dr Liv is extremely supportive, an expert in her field and wonderfully compassionate. The moment I stepped foot into the clinic I felt at ease to discuss my personal difficulties with no judgement and after receiving my diagnosis, there has been nothing but support.
