Psychologist-Led ADHD Assessment in Cardiff

For-Psych is an independent psychology practice at The Maltings, East Tyndall Street, Cardiff CF24 5EA, providing ADHD, autism and learning disability assessments for children, young people and adults across South Wales. ADHD assessment is £1,250 to £1,350, and a combined ADHD and autism assessment is £3,150.

Assessment Process

The practice publishes its timetable: enquiry in week one; a phone call and online screening questionnaires in week two; screening outcomes and a recommendation in week three; a face-to-face appointment with a psychologist in week six; and a results discussion with a detailed report in week ten. Assessments follow NICE guidance.

Medication

For-Psych is a psychology practice and does not prescribe ADHD medication. Patients considering medication after a diagnosis will need a referral to a prescriber.
