Does Neurospectrum offer shared care arrangements?

Yes, Neurospectrum works with NHS GPs under shared care agreements. This means your GP may be able to take over prescribing and monitoring after your initial titration period.

Getting diagnosed with ADHD at 40 has genuinely been one of those moments where so much of my life suddenly makes sense. For years I’ve wondered why I can be incredibly driven and completely focused on something that interests me, yet struggle with things that other people seem to do without even thinking. Forgetfulness, losing focus, struggling to take information in, feeling overwhelmed and having a brain that sometimes feels like it has 50 tabs open at once have just been part of normal life for me. I was quite nervous going into the assessment because I didn’t really know what to expect, but the experience with NeuroSpectrum was brilliant. I never felt like I had to prove that I had ADHD or give the “right” answers. I could just talk openly about my life, going right back to school and through to how things affect me now as a husband, dad and business owner. I felt listened to and understood throughout the whole process. There were several moments during the assessment where things were explained to me and I remember thinking, “That is literally me.” Things I’d previously put down to personality, bad habits or simply being rubbish at certain things suddenly had an explanation. Being diagnosed with combined-type ADHD hasn’t changed who I am, but it has completely changed how I understand myself. At 40 years old, I finally have an explanation for things I’ve struggled with for most of my life, as well as a much better understanding of some of the things that have helped me succeed. I’m genuinely grateful to NeuroSpectrum for the way they handled the whole process. If you’re an adult who has spent years wondering why your brain seems to work differently, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Definitely five stars from me.

From the first meeting with Neurospectrum I felt good about them. The staff were all kind and welcoming, but more importantly, they get it. Through lived experiences as well as extensive qualifications and professional experience, it's clear to see that they not just know what they are talking about, but they really care too. My son has been having sensory integration therapy and Lauren and Abbie have made sure to build up the relationship and go at his pace, knowing that any therapy would be useless without that connection first. Both have shown kindness and understanding from day one and each session gives me a little more hope for the future.

I first found Neurospectrum online after it became apparent that our daughter, Phoebe, needed to be assessed sooner rather than later. I contacted them and within a week or two we had our initial onboarding appointment. Following that, we were given a list of our appointments going forwards and were given a timeline of when we could expect a diagnosis. Phoebe was also provided with a booklet explaining what would happen throughout her assessment journey in a way that she could understand and process it for herself. Phoebe was treated with so much care and consideration throughout her assessment, she was made to feel very comfortable and at ease and she was completely understood by everyone she met, which, for me, was absolutely wonderful to see. We were informed every step of the way and the information given to us was always clear and concise which made what could have been a stressful situation, very easy and fun! Phoebe thoroughly enjoyed all of her appointments and wishes she could come back for more! We now have her formal diagnosis and are so pleased we chose Neurospectrum to obtain this. I cannot recommend them highly enough. To Paul, Alison, Aimee, Ellie, Polly, Emma, Helena and Kath - a huge thank you from all of us for making the whole process so enjoyable for Phoebe 🤗 you’re all amazing! x

My son Leslie was privately diagnosed at the clinic back in February of this year, the process from start to finish was first class. The staff that all met my son were exceptional. It can be a very difficult and daunting time for a parent but they made us all feel so welcoming and comfortable. My son enjoyed each appoitment and the diagnosis came through in great time. The report I received was well in depth and explains every aspect. 45 pages long. I would of paid triple the amount I paid. I can't thank them enough and can't recommend them enough. Thanks for all your help

Choosing Neurospectrum for our daughters ADHD and Autism assessment and diagnosis was one of the best decisions we could have made. With NHS waiting times for neurodevelopmental assessments being so long, we felt we couldn’t afford to wait any longer for our daughter to get the support and understanding she needed. Deciding to go private was a big decision for our family, but from our very first contact with Neurospectrum, we knew we had made the right choice. From start to finish, the service was absolutely brilliant. Every member of staff we spoke to, both over the phone and face to face, was incredibly helpful, empathetic, and accommodating. We were naturally anxious about the process, but the team immediately put us at ease. Every step was explained clearly and thoroughly, so we always knew what to expect. Nothing ever felt rushed, and every question or concern we had was listened to and answered with kindness and understanding. The assessments were carried out in such a supportive and child-friendly way, and our daughter felt comfortable and understood throughout. We felt genuinely cared for as a family, and it was clear that everyone at Neurospectrum is passionate about providing compassionate, professional support. We are incredibly grateful for the guidance, reassurance, and expertise we received. We would wholeheartedly recommend Neurospectrum to any family considering an ADHD and/or Autism assessment for their child.
