I’ve been working with Ciara since May (7 months now) and cannot speak highly enough of her practice and skill set. Having tried a number of therapists over the years (and always leaning towards CBT and practical mindful approaches) I would say her ability to pick up on the small things, interpret the confusing things, and offer up practical and thoughtful suggestions is unparalleled. I worked with Dr Ilan Ben-Zion, Clinical Psychologist at The Oak Tree Practice, over the summer at a difficult time in my life. He provided a calm, empathetic, and non-judgemental space, really understanding and validating how overwhelmed I felt. His warmth and professionalism made it easy to open up and trust him. He helped me navigate intense emotional and mental transitions, guiding me gently but also challenging me when it was needed — not to push me beyond my limits, but to help me grow. Thanks to his insight and support, I gradually began to feel more like myself again. Over our sessions, I developed the tools and resilience I needed to move forward in both my personal and professional life. Although I was sad to finish our sessions, I did so feeling fully equipped to cope independently. I’m doing so much better now, and I’m deeply grateful for Dr Ben-Zion’s compassionate and expert care. Highly recommended.

Laura (Laura Eid) has been helping me in therapy for the past 6-8 weeks now and has honestly changed my life in so many ways. I can strongly recommend The Oak Tree Psychologists. I had wariness, initially, as I felt I needed to seek an individual practitioner, rather than a large, seemingly faceless practice. But the care and service I've received from Oak Tree has been exceptional. I was also unsure about seeing someone on-screen rather than in person, but this hasn't been a barrier. Dr Georgia Smith has been helping me tackle my particular challenge, and she's been wonderful. The way she's made me feel at ease so I can talk completely openly, and the simple structure she's used to make sense of everything I ramble on about, has been incredibly positive. Ultimately, therapy relies on human connection, knowing that the person that's working with you genuinely cares, and has the skill and empathy to get to the heart of the matter, and guide you to a path forwards. Dr Smith does all this without it feeling like an ordeal, and gives you a clear sense that you're in this together, which enables you to have the utmost trust in her.
