Online Adult ADHD Assessments from a Cardiff Pharmacy Clinic

PrimeLife provides online ADHD assessments for adults aged 18 and over, delivered entirely by video from Wellness Pharmacy in Cardiff. The service is led by a pharmacist independent prescriber and is currently taking waiting-list registrations; an assessment price has not yet been published.

Assessment Process

The assessment is a 60 to 90 minute video consultation using the DIVA-5 diagnostic framework and DSM-5 criteria, followed by a separate 20 to 30 minute feedback consultation. A collaborative informant, someone who knew you as a child, is strongly recommended but not mandatory.

Treatment and Follow-Up

Medication is prescribed only after a diagnosis is confirmed, and a diagnosis does not guarantee that medication will be offered. Where it is clinically appropriate, titration runs over 8 to 12 weeks with regular clinical reviews.

Regulation

PrimeLife operates from Wellness Pharmacy, which is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (No. 1092564), and the ADHD service is delivered by a pharmacist independent prescriber. CQC ratings do not apply to clinics based in Wales, which fall outside the Care Quality Commission's remit.
