The Laine Clinic is a small, specialist private service offering adult autism and ADHD assessments in Brighton, led by Dr James Fallon, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Claire Newton, Specialist Nurse. All their clinicians work within the NHS and hold expertise gained within specialist Neurodevelopmental Services.

Assessment Process

A full assessment takes around three hours and is conducted in person at Flint Healthcare in Woodingdean, Brighton. The process includes comprehensive developmental, physical and mental health history from you and a family member or other informant. They screen for other neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, dyspraxia, hypermobility and associated conditions.

The Laine Clinic welcomes self-referrals for self-funded assessments for adults aged 16 to 98. They see a broad range of people including the student population, the LGBTQ+ community, and those exploring the female profile of autism.
