Firstly, I see that CareADHD has a score of around 4.1 on Google reviews currently. All of the lower scores however seem to be from people mistaking this company for an alternative one, which if excluding them would leave CareADHD with a 5 star average, which I wholeheartedly agree with so far. I have had ADHD mentioned to me various times more recently in my life. All of these questionaire's you'd see online, I'd score highly. I always thought I may have ADHD, but that it wasn't that much of a problem in my life, until it was. I won't dwell too much on my personal matters, although after a phone call to my GP (which was surprisingly helpful) I found out about long waiting lists. I saw several private companies offering ADHD assessments. For one reason or another, possibly the very competitive price, I decided to opt for a private assessment with CareADHD. I hate anything 'medical' wise. I don't think anybody LIKES to be assessed by a total stranger, telling them very personal information from the get-go. These fears were alleiviated quite quickly though. Firstly, I paid my fee. A couple of days later, I received a text and email to fill in quite a few forms, this could be completed over a period of time and I took a couple of days to complete them. I had to get two people close to me to also fill in questionaires. After these were all completed, I then had to wait for a phone call to be booked in for an assessment. This is probably the only quibble I had with the whole process, being that I missed the first phone call. You cannot phone them directly or call them back if you miss the call, and have to wait for another. Slightly frustrating as somebody who isn't very reliable at answering the phone, but I did manage to catch the second call and was offered an appointment around 5 days if I recall after receiving the call. SUPER quick!!! The appointment was via Microsoft Teams which I had no experience with but it was very straight forward. I was assessed by Sandra Cooper who made me feel at ease from the very start of the call. I made her aware I wasn't particularly fond of any type of assessments and may struggle to maintain focus for over an hour. She said it's not a problem at all and encouraged me to relax. She was however very engaging to communicate with so an hours focus wasn't a struggle as anticipated. Apart from the competitive prices, quick turnaround and very helpful assessor, I was even more surprised at how in-depth the final outcome letter was. Over 30 pages long! You may or may not have ADHD. After having an assessment with CareADHD however, I'm sure you'll learn a lot about yourself, whatever the outcome.

I had my assessment back in May and disagreed with the result. I asked for this to be reviewed, but the nurse that assessed me went onto maternity leave and did not hand my case over to anyone else, so I have spent the last few months chasing them. I have now only just received my second opinion five months later, but no one actually spoke to me, they just read what the previous nurse had written. It was highlighted that I have a lot of autistic traits, but that seems to have gone no where. I guess I now send myself for a test with another company?

ADHD I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Care ADHD. Having spent a considerable amount of money for titration, I have received absolutely no communication in return. It has been impossible to speak to a human being—phone calls ring into silence or are abruptly cut off. Emails go unanswered, and there is no clear route to resolve issues or obtain the support that was promised at the point of payment. This lack of basic communication is unacceptable, particularly given the financial and emotional investment involved in pursuing ADHD care. At this point, I strongly suspect that any response I may receive will be nothing more than a generic, cut-and-paste reply rather than a meaningful attempt to address the concerns raised. Patients deserve a transparent, reliable, and human service. Sadly, Care ADHD has failed to deliver even the most fundamental level of professionalism.

This service is so bad after my assessment the lady said she’s unsure if I have adhd or not and needed to consult a doctor she explained she would call back the following day and didn’t bother so I go onsite to contact them and because I’m an NHS patient I can’t call tohem I have to weight a note on their site to which they say they will respond in 10-14days be interesting to know how privet clients get treated after sharing such sensitive information. This has really impacted my mental health it’s disgusting

I had my assessment 4 months again, literally got told I could be on medication within a week. Well, 4 months and several follow up emails from myself and they have ignored me. I have had friends who have been assessed with other clinics since and are already on their medication. I really wish I went with a different clinic. What a waste of time. If you want a clinic that cares and replies and actually gives you medication when they say they would then avoid these! AWFUL experience!
