About Dr Cristal Oxley

Dr Oxley holds an MA from Cambridge and MBBS from London, with MRCPsych membership. She has led neurodevelopmental assessment and treatment teams in specialist CAMHS settings and has particular expertise in girls with ADHD.

It was a great relief to find a space where we were listened to and understood. The process of securing an ADHD assessment and the diagnosis was straightforward and inclusive which helped to us make sense of what was a confusing period. Would highly recommend. Cristal was great from the first communication, putting us at ease and talking us through the process. No questions went unanswered and the actual face to face assessment was a comfortable experience for both us and our daughter. The report is extremely comprehensive and gives practical advice on how to support our child both at home and in school.

We recently approached Dr Oxley for an ADHD assessment for our 9 year old son and were very impressed and satisfied with the whole experience. Our son is very shy when meeting new people, especially adults, but Dr Oxley had such a kind and patient demeanour that she was able to engage with him to obtain enough information for her diagnosis and subsequent report. Dr Oxley listened to our concerns before undertaking the assessment and provided excellent communication during the whole process. The final report was detailed and useful. Needless to say we would definitely recommend Dr Oxley and the Child Psychiatry Clinic and have in fact recommended her to a friend of ours seeking an assessment for their son.

Cristal was so incredibly kind, patient and helpful when I needed some advice about an ADHD assessment I sadly did elsewhere. There were a lot of problems with the report, and I wasn't getting anywhere with the company involved. So she explained the process that I would have to go to. This shows how passionate she is about what she does, as she wasn't going to be able to recommend herself or gain from her advice at all. I thoroughly recommend her as a clinician that you can trust with your child's assessment.
